Today I successfully initiated a Google+ Hangout!  It was slightly intimidating at first, because I wasn't sure if I initiated the hangout correctly.  Low and behold! There was Professor Pierce . . . yay me!  Now I will admit that this application is similar to Skype, but as I've said before, learning new ways to do things are always uncomfortable at first, but that is always the hardest step.  So now I find myself actually looking forward to the possibility of putting a face to a name with my classmates--see you soon :)
